I started running track at the age of 12. I was a sprinter and specialized in the 100meter and 200meter event. Years later, I played football in my freshman year of high school, because I was the new kid in school and though it would be a good way to make friends. I had continued running track until my junior year of high school and then shifted my focus to only football. When I had received a partial scholarship for Division 1 college football, I started as a strong safety.
Not long after college, I coached youth football and softball for 2 years. I had heard about this type of training called CrossFit. I tried my first CrossFit class after hearing about the “Open” in October 2013 and fell in love with the competitive atmosphere and the workouts. As time went by and I became a stronger athlete, my passion led me to become a part-time CrossFit Coach.
I live in central NJ with my wife and 2 children.
